Sprinkler at Sunset

Yesterday we reached the 80's with plenty of humidity to go along with that heat (getting us ready for our move South in August, I guess) and by evening, the kids were ready for some sort of cool down.

The lake is still on the cool side for a swim, so they settled for some water fun with the neighbors. The boys had their super soakers fully-loaded and ran through the sprinkler next door.

Pierre set up our sprinkler as the sun went down, giving the grass a slurp and Camille her first ever opportunity to go through. She is forever asking if she can come along when our big kids go outside, so we decided to take her out front and watch her play on the grass. Eventually the others noticed she was there and came to play with her a bit too. It was a fun start to our holiday weekend and to the upcoming summer season. The forecast for this week is for more of the same.

***A huge shout out to the kids' Auntie Lise for equipping each of them with new SPF 50 swimwear for the season. The boys love their rash guard shirts/fast drying trunks and the girls look super sweet in their suits. Thanks Lise!
