Apple Cheeks

That's her Daddy's special nickname for her at this stage. Fitting, I think. Apple, sometimes, for short. She turns and smiles when she hears either of these. It's pretty sweet.

Mommy has all kinds of little nicknames for her too. Nickers....which often evolves to Snickers, even Snickerdoodle. Nika (pronounced Neeka), like the ending of her name in French. Then there's, Nicka, like the ending of her name in English. All of my children have had to put up with many nicknames along the way and they don't seem to mind a bit. They know we use them affectionately.

In case you were wondering, yes, she does respond to her real name too! She is wise beyond her 7.5 months.
