This morning it was
Back to School for our crew. As you can see from their wind blown-look above, Fall weather has arrived just in time for their first day. It makes it a little easier for them leave summer behind and to get back to their studies, I suppose. We were swimming at the beach to beat the heat just this weekend, but almost overnight, the air has taken a turn towards the crisp and cool. The kids were all in good spirits and were looking forward to seeing their old friends and new classes. Christian is in 6th grade, Gabrielle is in 5th and Griffen is in 2nd grade.

Praying for a wonderful year of learning ahead, for the safety, happiness, self-confidence, hearts and consciences of my children. It's not easy to send them off into the world when there are so many things we don't want for them to face out there. However, the world needs strong leaders from this generation and we as parents, have faith and believe that they will take some of what they learn at home, share it through their words and actions and make a difference in the lives of others. |
