Every couple of years, we take an outing to the nearby pumpkin patch.

It's been neat to go back and find that each time the farm has added new activities making it more kid-friendly. The last time we had been was the day before Camille was born. That was 4 years ago, so it was time to go again with our youngest two additions.

There was so much to do there on this warm, October day, that we spent the whole afternoon enjoying all the fun that the farm had to offer.
There was something entertaining for everyone, which is great, since we have quite an age span going on now with a Sixth Grader, a toddler and a few in between.
Christian and his good friend Aaron, who have been school buddies since junior kindergarten, were old enough to set off alone together and do the more difficult of the two corn mazes and then hit the patch on their own.
The most popular activity for our crew this year had to be the new go-karts. They had a couple of different sizes to choose from and a fun race course to go around.

Always a hit, is the hay tunnel. Makes this momma a little nervous that it could cave-in since kids can also climb on top of the struture, but I am a born worrier, so what else is new?

| Exiting the hay tunnel. Must have been sweltering in there. Look at the rosy cheeks. |

| How tall this Fall? Looks like she's 3 ft. 3, y'all. |

Everyone had fantastic time at the farm, especially the older boys. They talked non-stop about how great everything was all the way home. It was fun to watch these guys gaining a bit of independence from a distance as they took the hay ride back to the entrance to meet us. They sure are growing up, those boys!
How fun! Would have loved to see more of Gabrielle but she was probably helping with the little ones. Great pics!
