Making Our Lists and Checking Them Twice

 I have some adorable little assistants as we ready ourselves for a Bon Voyage.  They tried on their new swimsuits, which thankfully, fit great.  I have always been a list maker, which proves especially helpful when packing seven people for any type of trip.  There are too many details to even attempt going by memory.  I start making lists about a week in advance and jot things down as they come to mind.

The little girls loved modeling their new suits and ended up wearing them inside all day.

Life vests, stroller, multivitamins, camera and charger, cell phone, DVDs, books, ipod, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrush and accessories, pajamas, hats, sunglasses, passports, GPS, spring clothes, swimsuits, church clothes, sweaters, shoes, shampoo, diapers, wipes, sippy cups, snacks, Danika's special blanket, sunscreen, clothes for warmer weather, clothes in case it is cooler- for everyone...and the list goes on.

All the prep is worth it every time.  It may be like a scavenger hunt getting everything together, but I am able to leave knowing we're as organized as we can be...and of course, whatever has been forgotten can usually be picked up at our destination.

My older two are always taking self-portraits on my camera-most of the time too silly to put on the blog, but this one is nice...
