We've just said goodbye to our first visitors of the summer. My sister in law and niece were in town. (FYI this sister is the 3rd child and first girl of my husband's siblings...while he is closer the end and the youngest boy at #10).
These two traveled a good distance to get here and we are so happy they made a special detour during their holidays to come our way for a couple of days. It was too bad that the weather got so crummy the day they arrived and we weren't able to see much beach time, but we had a great time together even if we were inside a lot. The evening before they left, we took them out for one of our favorite summer treats- the dockside fish fry along the river. The fish is caught out on the nearby lake early that same day and it is so fresh and tasty.
