What is a family beach outing without a water fight? I snapped this fun shot a couple weeks ago of the kids chasing each other with buckets filled to the brim trying to soak each other. Seems like Christian had a clear advantage, but nobody seemed to care. It was all in good fun.
Griffen has gotten so independent this year. He enjoys group activities and all things fun with his brother and sisters, but also loves to play alone just doing his own thing. He went back and forth into the lake and out fetching his pail of water like this for a half hour or so non-stop.
...and this little polka dot and ruffled girl with the ringlets spent her time playing in the sand. She is still all about collecting pebbles, but has moved on from putting them in her mouth, thank goodness!
Looks like so much fun. What a great place to have close by.
